The book is a beautiful story about overcoming trauma – specifically fears about falling in love. This happens for a lot of books (I’m thinking of Ugly Love is another popular romance book). But really this book has realistic trauma situations and there are so many pages that you really see the characters change and unravel from their pain points.
This story in particular followed Knox and Naomi (or Daisy as I like her being called!) as they navigate a world where they take chances they never thought they’d take after finding a burning passion for each other which surprised them both as they were complete OPPOSITES in EVERY way! Knox was a giant gorgeous Viking God and Naomi was a tall sweet classy girly girl who wanted to make everybody happy.
Naomi blew into town to rescue her trouble-making twin only to be double-crossed by said twin and left in a small town with no money or car who hated her twin with a passion and thought Naomi was Tina!
