My Family and Other Animals (The Corfu Trilogy Book 1) is a very interesting and humorous story about family life on Corfu, an island off the northwest coast of Greece. Gerald Durrell is the author of this wonderful book. This is a great memoir by an author who is great at capturing moments. This is a short, fun, lyrical book about a summer in Corfu that Darrell spent with his family. Follow his many naturalistic quests to discover and collect different plants and animals on the island’s shores, oceans, forests, and meadows. The film explores his siblings’ other hobbies and her mother’s tolerance and quiet acceptance of her talented (and often extreme) interests pursued by all four children. is depicted.

The language is exquisite and the author describes the actions, people, and life forms very well. 10-year-old Darrell is often involved in interesting and sometimes dangerous situations, and his desire to pet the creatures he encounters, including water snakes, turtle geckos, seagulls, and many insects, leads him to a sizable zoo and an overwhelming collection of life forms. I am acquiring a collection. Can also be used as jar collections or pressed plant specimens. This book is a must-have for any reader. Gerald Durrell’s keen interest in nature led him to a career in nature, eventually writing books to support animal collecting trips, Jersey Zoo and the Animal Foundation. His books primarily focus on his life, but are always filled with self-deprecating and entertaining descriptions.
