I’m here. The frame story of the gods was interesting, but basically just Aphrodite, the all-knowing narrator, gives the reader a reason to tell a love story. The author’s message of love overcoming hate is then delivered through Aphrodite. So that’s another fascinating aspect of this lovely war.
