King of Wrath by Ana Huang PDF Book Summary

King of Wrath is a dark and intense fantasy novel that follows the story of a young woman named Aria, who is chosen by the gods to be the leader of their kingdom. Aria is gifted with incredible powers, but she is also plagued by her own anger and wrath.

As Aria struggles to control her emotions and lead her people, she is faced with a series of challenges and threats. The kingdom is under attack from a group of rebels, and Aria must use all of her strength and cunning to defeat them.

As she battles to protect her kingdom, Aria also grapples with her own inner demons, trying to keep her anger and wrath in check. Along the way, she meets a charming and brave warrior named Ethan, who helps her on her journey and becomes her closest ally.

As the two of them fight to defend the kingdom, Aria must come to terms with her own anger and learn to harness her powers for good. But will she be able to overcome her own demons and become the true king of wrath? Or will her anger and wrath consume her and destroy everything she holds dear?

Aria will prove to be the wife and the weakness he could never have anticipated in this brand-new passionate billionaire romance from the author of the Twisted series. Ruthless. Meticulous. Arrogant. Dante Russo has thrived on control throughout his life, both personally and professionally. The rich CEO never intended to get married, but the fear of blackmail pushes him to wed jewelry heiress Vivian Lau, the daughter of his most recent foe.

She won’t be able to win your heart, no matter how lovely or sweet she is. He will use every legal means at his disposal to obliterate the evidence and their betrothal. One issue is that now that he is in possession of her, He finds it tough to let her go. Elegant and aspirational. Well-mannered. Vivian Lau possesses all the traits required for her family to rise to the highest ranks of high society. She unlocks opportunities for her new-money family members by getting married to a blue-blooded Russo.

She accepts her arranged marriage to Dante out of duty, despite the fact that his harshness and avoidance are not traits she looks for in a mate. I never in a million years imagined wanting his touch. Her falling in love with her future spouse was neither the worst thing she could do nor the worst thing she could possibly do.

A world that feels familiar but with a fresh spin, new characters to love and hate, and a game of figuring out who our other Kings are going to be while being absolutely wooed by Dante. This forced marriage, forced proximity, and the emotionally avoidant book will sweep you off your feet. It’s familiar and new all at once.

Vivian is a great lead – she’s complicated and imperfect, and I love that when he meets her Dante thinks he knows who she is and she proves him wrong over and over. She has wit and intelligence, but also a sarcastic streak that he brings out, and a deep care and loyalty to the people she loves even when it might destroy her. There are times when my heart broke for her and yet I was also mad at her. She comes a long way, and when the time comes that she really needs him, Dante has her back. She earns his loyalty, and that’s not easy.

Dante is the cold, cutting CEO but he uses that image to hide that he’s fiercely protective – Dante cleans up messes before anyone even knows about them, no matter the cost. The role wrath plays in Dante’s story is important, as the many different ways it can be exacted. If you enjoy “I want you and I hate it” vibes, this will hit that sweet spot. The thing I like about Dante, especially compared to some of the heroes in the Twisted series, is that you want his respect as much as his love.

When the details that forced this engagement into being are revealed, it’s going to hurt. So damn bad. It’s also where this goes in a different direction, and it made the ending feel deeper and more meaningful. These are unfathomably rich people – the big grand gestures are their norm – when it comes to finding their way back to each other, it has to be more than a gesture. It’s about earning back respect as much as it is about trust – it’s not going to be to everyone’s taste. It’s a grovel, but it’s a super soft grovel, and that makes it more powerful given the personalities of these two characters.
