“Cut and Run” lingers long after you turn the last page. Mary Burton is the author of this novel. Her author’s excellent storytelling skills can be appreciated in this impressive and wonderful novel. The author starts the novel with beautiful characters and then adds more characters to give the reader a good pace. The story of the novel is obviously great and easy to understand as each character is connected to the others in a very strong and most interesting way. It totally lives up to the hype. All the characters were incredibly interesting and terrifying. The plot is unique and well written from multiple points of view, but there aren’t too many confusing parts.

It keeps you guessing and slowly reveals small clues to keep you interested. This book deals with a child murder case, so it may be a bit graphic for some people. So please note that it is not for the faint of heart. But if you’re looking for a thrill ride that makes you feel like you need to watch over your shoulder, this is your book. This book shows that all thriller and horror books should be creepy, thrilling, and page-turning. Great plot points and so many twists and turns to get to the end. That being said, if you’re looking for one of his best and most entertaining kidnapping thrillers, I highly recommend picking up this book.
